ADAAP's 8-Hour Intermediate Education Program is geared to assist individuals who, in addition to their chemically mediated arrest, have displayed symptoms of potentially dangerous attitudes, habits or lifestyles. This program includes two 4-hour psychoeducational group sessions, two 12-Step meetings & self-analytical journaling. The curriculum was created to supplement a TCADA 12 hour DWI class curriculum.
ADAAP's 12-Hour Advanced Education Program is geared to assist individuals assessed in the lower level problematic range, but who are clearly non-chemically dependent. The curriculum focuses on identifying the progression of problematic drinking, & includes 12 hours of psycho educational group sessions, plus 6 outside 12-step meetings & some self-analytical journaling homework. This program is often combined with a 12 hour TCADA certified DWI class, to generate the 24 hour psycho educational group format mandated by Travis County & other Central Texas Rehabilitation
ADAAP's 21-Hour Advanced Plus Education Program assists non-chemically dependent individuals, assessed with counseling needs ranging somewhere between the 12-hour Advanced Program & more intensive Intervention Programs. This 7 week program focuses upon lifestyle commitments, & requires a 2-hour group psycho educational session, two 12-step meetings & self-analytical journaling homework per week, & is commonly combined with a 12 hour, TCADA certified DWI Class.
