What’s Your Story?

Seize the Narrative (Live or Die)!

I was reading Catherine Ponder this morning & came across a story of a woman given 3 months to live. Her husband told her she could accept the diagnosis & die or reject it & live. But if she wanted to live, she had to do two things: First, stop talking about her operations, hospital experience & illness. Forget it. It’s over. Second, think about life, affirm life & expect to live. He suggested that she affirm “Let Divine Health manifest for me & in me now.”

This reminded me that we all need to tell a new story when we want something different. We need to let go of the old story, & embrace the new one.

I know that I have often held on to the old story WAY PAST its Use By date!!! I have often said, I don’t have the answer. I don’t know. But the truth is that something inside me does know. God knows. So instead of moaning about how I don’t know, I try to remember to affirm that God knows & is showing me the path. All I need to know is the next step. And if that step isn’t clear to me, then the next step must be prayer.

We can choose to let go of the old story of poor health, or poverty, or indecision, or failure.

I’m choosing to write a New Story.
How About You?
Live or Die!
What’s Your Story?

Never Forget You are An Amazing, Powerful, Brilliant, Awesome, Unique Divine Creation!
Go Forth & Spread the Love.
Thank You God!

Enjoy the Moment

This Wonderful Moment

I recently ran across this quote, & was so touched, I thought I’d share it.

“Breathing in, I calm my body.
Breathing out, I smile.
Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment.”
Thich Nhat Hanh

While relishing this thought, I notice there’s another index card, that’s separated from the small stack of quotations on my desk. Flipping it over, the contents come into focus, asking:
“What is the highest possibility in this moment?”

What if we believed that this is a wonderful moment? What if we KNEW it was full of possibilities? What if we then looked for those possibilities?

I suspect we would always have smiles on our faces!!!
Thank you God!

A Divine Wind

The Blessing Technique (Truck Air Conditioner)

About a month ago, my truck’s Air Conditioning system stopped working. Once I could no longer tolerate the savage Texas summer heat, I reluctantly called my favorite Repair Shop, & advised them my truck & I were inbound for some temperature salvation.

As I left home, I thought I would try something different. So, I began blessing the Air Conditioner, for the entire drive. Once I arrived, the mechanic began diagnosing the problem. After an hour, he called me into his office & told me he’d need my vehicle back at 9:00 AM on Friday, to begin repairs.

However, on my way home, something told me to just turn the A/C on. When I did, wonders of wonders, the A/C began blowing cold air, effortlessly!

Fearing the respite was only temporary, I kept my Friday appointment. The technician was befuddled, but admitted he could find absolutely nothing wrong with the A/C. Blessedly, the A/C continues to Cool Excellently!

If something is not going the way you would like – people, your job, your body, etc. – Try Blessing it. A blessing turns it to a Higher Source. You may be surprised at the outcome.

😊 Thank you God! 😊

Drug Offender Education Classes

Texas Transportation Code 521.371-521.377 states that the driver’s license of any person convicted of a misdemeanor or felony drug offense will be automatically suspended for 180 days, or 1 year, if under 21 years of age. To qualify for license reinstatement, individuals MUST attend, & successfully complete, a certified DOEP (Drug Offender Education Program). Failure to complete this DOEP intervention course will extend suspension of their driver’s license indefinitely, until the program is successfully completed. Upon completing this course, participants receive a serially numbered certificate, which can be submitted to DPS for license reinstatement.
